SE MN | If the government is going to distort the market of your business that is a little different than general welfare payments.
I am opposed to all of it. Every chance I get I vote for candidates that are opposed to this asinine policy, thus far without success. But yes it showed up in my account.
Please enlighten me as to how I am supposed to hold on to my rented land when the 6,000 acre operation across the fence that calls on my landlord regularly has an extra $300,000 in their pocket from just one of the payments when I have refused the funds. My landlord likes me but money talks. Loudly.
Also, as I looked at these payments I thought of the federal income taxes that I pay. Since I am a member of that persecuted minority and I will be tasked with paying the interest on this debacle I figured that since I am paying for it I would cash the check. Notice I did not mention the principal. I have long ago given up hope of that fantasy. | |
