Nw Iowa | Flatland, Did you read my post? It all went over your head. I don’t agree with any of the payments. Meanwhile I went to work everyday. Paid my rents on time, kept producing even when crap hit the fan last year we were underwater on every bushel of grain being sold. We were also on pins and needles that we would have to destroy some of our fat hogs because there was no room at packing plants. Did we deserve a big federal handout, no, were we still trying to carryon when world was falling apart, yes. We had crops to attend to and livestock to feed.
The free money will hurt those the most that the money was supposed to help. Inflation undermines a hard working families net income. Pay goes up slowly while expenses for essentials goes up much faster. Those that tried to save a nest egg find that it will buy less and less. | |
