If you will be pulling a trailer with heavy tongue weight or a gooseneck I would lean towards a 3500 dually.
If not a 2500 srw would be my pick. In other words I would tend to match a 3500 w/dualls and a 2500 w/ singles.
But I'm old school<:) and kind of thinking about pulling a camper with one or the other my self.
Matching the GVWR of the trucks with the trailers you will be pulling might be a good idea if your going to be pulling on public roads. ( not trying to be smart alec with that comment)
