Not Chevy but have a 2019 F350 heavy with snowplow front and heavy rear. It rides like expected. Also have a 2020 F250 without extra springs and it rides softer.
So yes I’d say you can tell a difference. That said it probably depends on how they are set up. I’d say I have the extreme with a heavy 350 and light 250.
