WC MN
I can take you to areas that are dry beyond dry in MN. But they don't count a lot towards overall production. Plenty of crops in the Dakotas, Montana, west coast, Canada that are in a drought and lost. Your narrative is only concerning row crops. So when Montana burns up, the cbot doesn't care but the guys on fire sure do.

A lot of the areas that have talked about being dry are in fact very dry. Bushels are being lost every day that it doesn't rain. If you thought at any point we were headed towards a 12' or 88' you were mistaken and I don't think most would have thought that to be an outcome on a national scale. Some people do have 2012 and 1988s in progress and it sucks

A lot of SD, MN, and IA that is very dry also has lots of drain tile so this is not a normalcy and it's been harder to pin down production especially when you consider we are just filling ears and pods.
