You nailed it perfectly. I am not defending Deere by any means, but they did give plenty of warning that this was going to happen. If everyone would have traded in there ITC's 2-3 years ago, there would not be a shortage of 6000's today. There are going to be a bunch more receivers of many brands that are probably going to quite functioning in 2026 or so, including one of my RTK systems. This was supposed to happen in 2021. Deere was proactive and set a date for there SF1 change and I believe they even pushed it back at least once. It is all based on US government planned changes, that ended up getting delayed. |
