Southern Illinois
Your statement is why I own my own self propelled sprayer (along with the insane chemical markup). I timed my application as close as possible to full flower and the Coop would just run when convenient or call in a plane and still make the chemical markup. On top of that, I run 90 degree elbows on my sprayer to get more coverage on the head and run a full 20 GPA. Is it a lot of work? Yeah, but it sure is nice getting a good chunk of cash flow in July, especially when you can raise 40-50 BPA double crop beans.
