Is the tank really that empty? Everyone keeps talking about no tile water, but that was never plant available water. Any rainfall between harvest last year and now added to subsoil moisture even if the tiles didn’t run.

So the question is how much of the amount of moisture between the wilting point and plant available water is left. Tough to judge that by anything other than running tests and drying the soil. If there is 6” of water in the top 3’ of soil that would go a long way until corn gets waist tall and in the rapid growth phase.
