Your thoughts are good for mounted equipment...however I think most good size tillage (assuming that's what we're going to use for HD draft info!) is now pull-type. Could be wrong w/just tunnel vision though. I suppose you could measure draft from a NH3 bar during application or something like it.

I had this same idea many yrs ago with 1st MicroTrak yield monitor we had. I thought we should be able to put some kind of strain gauge (= #s pull) in hitch system & data log it. To my way of thinking, that would be the only additional piece of hardware needed.

This is the 1st time I've heard resurrection of the idea.
