Nebraska | Several alfalfa fields in my hood have aphids BAD, our fields have a few but nothing too serious yet. Im having a hard time making a decision what to do, I dont want to start haying right now, I would like to wait till at least the first week of june since I only take 3 cuttings. Do I spray the alfalfa standing and run some over so I make sure I have hay left to cut in 10-14 days or do I just wait it out and spray after cutting? The alfalfa isnt even blooming yet and is very lush green which I dont like right now either, tough to get it dry when its slime, and no, chopping it isnt an option. Just a another decision I dont wanna make right now so decided to rant on here a little. | |
