2 years ago we had a terribly wet spring, half way through planting the weevil started to show up in the alfalfa, didn’t have time to hay and had lots of growth left to it, I sprayed and was one of my better decisions ever. They literally stripped some fields that weren’t sprayed. Chem is dirt cheap. Would do it again in a heartbeat, disk bine picked up 90% of the hay driven over.
