Because engineered crops cross polinate other crops. There by preventing the NON bio grower from recieving the normal permium for a NON bio Crop. Once you sign the "devil's agreement " you cannot sue them for cross polination.
I use to raise sugar beets. I do not care for the wording in the "teck agreement" that allows Monsanto to "amend the contract at thier descrecion" & that once you have signed the agreement you were bound for life. 1 of the reasons I am no longer a beet grower, I already had seen what companys can do with those kind of agreements.
