Do those pumps need a charge pump? I remember dumping a silage wagon with big single acting cylinder with 4020. If you held the clutch down, the hoist will stop and sort of jump before it got to the end of stroke.
The only time I ever saw those pumps used for anything but a tractor was on a press a man built. But he built a lot of things no one else could figure out.
