Like I said in my original post, either plow it and bury it completely or leave it on the surface and manage it over TIME (IE spring, summer, fall). Disk rippers for corn are pointless in my opinion. They don't bury and with the residue taking more time to break down, it isn't giving a suitable seedbed by spring time.
