I'm not that far from you and that is a lot of chemical. I was spraying 22 oz of RU and 6 oz of 24d as there just wasn't that much weed growth in the stalk fields. I didn't see much waterhemp until recently and didn't have the normal marestail early. I did miss a few marestail on the hillsides but most of my ground is flat. Last week was spraying 24 oz RU and 1 oz reviton with 3 pt Intimidator for residual after planting and it's too soon to see how that's going to work. I know many will think RU resistsance, etc but I believe those very small weeds and grass are relatively easy to kill and high RU and 24d rates are not needed. As the weather warms then weeds are harder to kill and require higher rates.

I thought the general rule for 24d was 1 day per oz planting delay. 20 oz seems like a lot.
