Just looking at the ground and reading the first bit. I know I can’t get excellent control when I have that much trash the trash just seems to tie up the chemical and if a rain comes or a big wind it blows it around exposing bare soil. Although without some trash and organic matter the soil can retain too much chemical as I see in my very sandy spots. I like trash there but herbicides not incorporated won’t work as well. Knowing this I use smaller rates and plan on an extra pass or two. If I put out full rates of all those chemicals into a lot of trash I won’t get good control and I’ll have a high dose of chemical out there. Worst of both worlds. I used to try it that way, it was what seemed easiest to me but as I’ve learned alll too well, easy has a cost.
