I had a total of 1 inch of rain across 3 light rains within day 4 of the application. 1.7” total. Corteva rep told me I did have enough to activate, and that there was no chance it would be washed out.
However, chemical rep did ask 3 different times “Now how many batches were mixed when you sprayed this 287 acres.. or was it one batch.” Something tells me he was questioning the retailers mixing ability, but I won’t put those words in his mouth.
I’m just pissed I’ve spent $65+ (not counting my application cost)/acre for this. And have water hemp. The pressure isn’t that bad, the crop was clean last year. I’m clearly not cutting corners or I wouldn’t have had a Cadillac system planned.
I sprayed the burn down timely, let the rain incorporate. I planted timely, and got a good stand. I turned in spray order timely, so I’m having trouble believe this is my poor management to blame. But I understand, I’m 22, broke, and dumb. No one else makes a mess up. I’m supposed to eat it, when the beans have weeds.
Sorry, I might be confused. Did you or the retailer spray the burndown? Reason I ask is you say "I sprayed the burn down timely" then say "I turned in spray order timely". Just seeking clarification.
