You should have listened to John Phipps on US Farm Report this morning. He would set your mind right. Farm land isn't really being used for solar, and no one is being forced. Everyone should just jump on the bandwagon and stop being jealous.
I can't believe they give that guy a microphone, and worse yet, I can't believe I watch it. The assessment from the academic types tend to ignore the negative impact on real people who just happen to be in the way.
The only two commercial solar setups I know of around here are on what was farmland. One on good flat black dirt, when there's hilly pasture land a 1/4 mile away. |
