| Farm next to us has a couple creek crossings made from old railroad tank cars with the ends cutout. They cross them with loaded 1,100 bu grain carts pulled by large 4wd tractors. We have a couple bridges that we no longer use that were made with concrete end abutments with angled ends to keep water from washing out behind the abutments that used I beams & plank floors. They were made to handle farm equipment of the 50s & 60s but too small for today's larger equipment. I know my uncle spent a lot of money having them built & maintained over the years.
If I were to replace them I would go the tank car route. I know tank cars can be bought up to 12' in diameter.
