Old flat rail cars work good. Can put 2 side by side for a wider bridge for getting tractors and combines across safely. Transporting them to the site is where most of your expense will be. A very stout footer with deep casons is reccomended for heavier loads.

Would several 4' culverts work as they are easier to install vs a bridge of any type. I have purchased used culverts reasonably from highway construction companies in the past. They were used for bridge replacement projacts. By law when replacing a bridge on a highway they can only be used once for one project. Check around with companies that do these type of projects if slightly used will work for you.
