| Thank you everyone! I hadn't thought of making meals in the disposable foil pans so she doesn't have to worry about washing and bringing back dishes. I will definitely do that with future meals I bring her! (I've already brought her one casserole.) She helped me a lot during my pregnancy with Finley, who is now 7 months old. She has 5 older kids, all under the age of 9, so her hands are very full. I know for holidays she loves her front porch decorated. I noticed last month she hadn't done her usual Fall decorations and I asked her about it. She said at nine months pregnant she was just too tired. So my daughter Makayla (17) and I bought a bunch of pumpkins and gords and took them to her. We had her tell us how she wanted them arranged and we did so. She has a beautiful eye for design and it ended up looking really great. Once the pumpkins started rotting last week we took them and gave them to our neighbor who has chickens. That lady had been asking everyone in our neighborhood group on Facebook to bring her our rotting pumpkins for her chickens. I had originally planned on using the pumpkins to make purees and pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread for my neighbor but unfortunately I didn't have time. Her new baby is so cute and healthy, a beautiful baby girl. They have all girls, not a single boy, and they have been trying for a boy since child two. The mother is in love with her new baby girl though and said she is blessed to have healthy children, and that she can't complain. | |
