SEMN | after the first day and not being caught I would have a hard time not putting a 223 into them. Yes accidents happen but I’ve never had animals out for more than a few hours tops (that would be chasing in dark). 4h animals should be teddy bears. I’d cut my loss and make hamburger
Edit. Honest mistake for 13 year old, no hard feelings toward anyone as it’s a one off deal. I have a relative that has animals out constant and it’s due to lack of care so I get angry about loose animals. Good luck with the catch and don’t let this steer him away from 4-h. It’s a good program.
I ran after a buck once and didn’t chain gate. I looked back and as fast as I was chasing thst buck I was turning around to chase cattle
