That's in central/south America anyway.

I'm still shocked several said to shoot them. I would suggest anyone who thought that to sell their cattle tomorrow.

Rampage is right about getting a good set of dogs but..... In brush country which is what the op is dealing with at this point, the dogs better be curr or catahoula. The hound will get them out of the brush. Rope em, strech em, trip em, tie em. It happens here with 2000+ lb bulls every year. Collies and heelers are competition dogs, not real brush dogs. If cowboys don't pull up with a Pierce winch on the truck and a fairlead in the nose of the trailer, you might find another set of cowboys. Your cowboys being scared of 1100 lb calves means they ain't got a clue. Find someone with good dogs that knows how to tie big cattle down.
