Neighbor had a lot of cattle in the 30’s and he talked of cutting down a tree in the morning then rolling it around in the afternoon so they could get to all the leaves. Great grandad talked about plowing furrows around fields and fill them with creosote to keep the cinch bugs out. They were tough times.
