 West Central IL | What we do is just cut it off the cob and put it in ziplock freezer bags and into the freezer it goes. I've pulled it out 2 years later and it tastes just as good as if you just froze it. Now if you leave the cob on, that's a different story. Seems like it pulls the flavor out of the cob into the kernels. I think if you could put it in a blast freezer on the cob it may be fine, but never had any luck that way so we just cut it off and freeze it. |
