NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | We went to Alaska in 2015 on a one week land followed by a one week cruise going through John Halls Alaska cruises and tours out of Lake City, MN, I highly recommend them, they did a excellent job. We did the land part first so we could rest more on the cruise coming back. The only down side of the land tour is they keep you busy from pre-dawn until late night. We were both exhausted each end of the day. There is so much to see in Alaska, we only saw a fraction of it in those 15 days. We will go back someday, have fun.
