Glasgow, Ky | Good advice Boone. Right now we have low interest rates, good prices and many farmers flush with cash to buy land with. All these contribute to high land prices. Long term, land has always been a good investment and will continue to be. Problem is hanging on to it for the first few years if you are highly leveraged. My philosophy on buying land has always been if you can sleep well at night after buying it then go for it. If it is going to stress you out and have an adverse affect on your quality of life then hold off. |
