I haven't had health insurance since 1997 when I quit the IBEW. Was just looking at rates yesterday, $980 a month just for myself. My health is good, think I'll just keep on what I've been doing for another 2-1/2 years until I'm eligible for Medicare. I just can't see $980 a month when my yearly health care costs have been in the low hundreds...
