Basically same as Ben said...but no rocks. even when you lay in the topsoil on top of the cut, it still doesn't get back to as good as it was. Years of feedlot and pig manure, and can still see right where some cuts were made.

Every region is different, and a lot of 1/4's around here would have several different runs, and water running in every direction. I would take a rolling farm with a pivot over most any farm that has been leveled to gravity irrigate.
