Subject: RE: batteries for electrical storage

NW Washington
Finding a battery that could store excess electrical power from wind and solar is a major hurtle in covering our electrical power needs. And to supply power when the wind is not blowing and it is night time. That battery has yet to be discovered. Pumping water up hill to be reused for hydro power later is not very efficient.
I heard Bill Gates recently say that we are going to need to use nuclear power to meet our needs without fuel burning electrical power generators. And work is on going on designing safer nuclear plants that create less waste that takes centuries to decompose.
