I would guess that 98% of the time it won’t make much difference. Maybe if it’s near full capacity, but most tiles don’t run at full capacity very long. We dig a start hole on an angle and bend the tile enough to go straight into the main in those situations. Can also curve with the plow as needed right after the start.
