We have several hillsides where it looks to me like dumping the laterals into sub-mains would work better if those laterals were about 45degrees to the sub-main, instead of the 90 that appears to be standard. Appears that the water from the lateral would increase the flow in the sub-main, instead of hitting the side and then moving into the flow down the sub-main. Why or why not? Thanks. Pattern would be something like this...…. submain lateral ! ! ! 45deg ! waterflow is downhill. V ! ! V ! ! V
