Subject: Tiling-------and entering the main or submain at say, 45degrees instead of usual 90??

Oskaloosa, Iowa 52577

We have several hillsides where it looks to me like dumping the laterals into sub-mains would work better if those laterals were about 45degrees to the sub-main, instead of the 90 that appears to be standard.

Appears that the water from the lateral would increase the flow in the sub-main, instead of hitting the side and then moving into the flow down the sub-main.

Why or why not?

Thanks.

Pattern would be something like this...….

submain       lateral

!                          !

!     45deg    !             waterflow  is downhill.  V

!           !                                                          V

!  !                                                                   V
