Sold 48 acres to a neighbor 3 yrs ago. Financed for 90 days. I put my share of the down payment $16,000 in my wells fargo account 14 day hold on 3/4 of it, told me it was the law. When I got my final payment Of $40k I put it in my hometown bank. It was all available the next day. The down payment check was from a title company. The final payment was a personal check.
