SW TX PANHANDLE | It is a “show” steer. No different then a horse, dog, whatever. You’ve got to have the “look” to win. Most of you guys think it’s a bunch of rich parents that overspend on cattle and hire someone else to take care of them. While that may be true in less than 5% of families, the vast majority of kids and families put in the work. I know this for a fact, as my girls have been doing it since they were 8 years old, one is a senior and one a freshman. So before you go talking out of your a$$ maybe you should become a little more educated about the industry. There are a few bad seeds, as there is in anything, but it’s mostly families giving their kids an opportunity to realize rewards from hard work and responsibility. | |
