Not a deer story, but, lightening struck cow barn and killed our mule, dad told my brother and neighbor to bury mule in the woods, they found the woods too difficult to dig a hole big enough, so they buried in cotton field, dad was plowing cotton and got tractor stuck in mule hole, what a stinking mess
