We track every dollar knowing we will lose money. Mine understand that part of it. I’m not doing this for the money. I’m doing it for my girls. We know it is currently a hobby that will lose money but are looking toward raising heifers we can breed to sell calves.
They also have their own commercial herd that they also track money to see they are losing money there too. :)
