NE WI | You work too cheap. I charge $.50/bf. Then people bring logs that have so much sweep to them you only get a few bf out of them, want a 12" x 12" square beam out of a 13" diameter log. or logs that look like they were limbed with a back hoe. The best are the yard tree walnut guys that drive in with a big smile on their face and I tell them to cut it up for firewood. They look at me all mad until I run my metal detector over the log and its full of metal. | |
