OK ... fair enough. Why mention you sold an item a couple months ago?

That's the reason I linked my bank account. Didn't have anything to do with Ebay. Yes it's possible someone got into my Ebay account.

Humans make mistakes also. About 15 years ago I bought a computer from Dell. Long story short the salesperson charged it to another man's account without my knowledge. He got a detective involved when his credit went bad (because of the unpaid computer), who then sent the Texas Rangers to my house (looked like ID theft). First time I've had my rights read to me....

Also, the negative comments on here are real life experiences. It appears you haven't had those and that's good. The point is Paypal is a great company until they decide something against you or you need to communicate with them. The level of human interaction is what makes it awful.
