Well I'm not a doctor so can not give medical advice but I got off my two blood pressure medicines when I changed diets and lost a lot of weight. But that is me. Your results may be different. I monitor my blood pressure and it is not what I would call great, but it is better than when I was heavier and taking the blood pressure medicines. Generally 120-130 over 70-80. From what I have learned somewhere around 140/80 or below is kind of the cutoff where the potential side effects risks of the blood pressure drugs are higher than the side effects of the high blood pressure. Been a while since I studied it. Of course any statistics are only averages of a population so any single individual could have different risk profiles than the group as a whole. But blood pressure medicines are not without potential side effects. I always had a dry cough till I got off the blood pressure medications. If that was a side effect I could notice, how many others were there that I could not notice? https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=dr+ken+berry+blood+pressure John
