Mrs. GangGreen would agree with you, amsunshine.
She gets quite sense of accomplishment seeing the cellar fill up with canned peaches, pears, beans, tomatoes, jellies and preserves, etc, knowing that she is saving her family lots of money and providing us with fresh, healthy food.
It really is a lot of work, but we help her, and nothing beats home grown food.
