Lenovo is garbage when it comes to customer support. I bought a lemon laptop from them. Got the complete runaround on getting it fixed under warranty. Talked to probably 20 different people. They have tech support, customer service, customer care, and warranty departments. They will give you the runaround and keep blaming the other department. I was forcibly transferred to different departments despite telling the person I was on the phone with that I'd already been there twice. They also will not give you last names or direct email addresses or phone numbers so that even if you do make headway with one person, you can't get back in touch with them. You then have to re-explain the entire problem over for the 20th time. Lenovo hardware might be great but their service is horrendous. I always treat techs well because they have a hard job and it isn't their fault that my computer broke. That being said, I have never been driven to swear at incompetent, uncaring service people in the way that I did with lenovo people. I had to file a Better Business Bureau complaint before I finally reached someone who gave me a refund.

Dell on the other hand is fantastic. Their sales people give you their full name and direct phone and email address. I fortunately haven't had to test their tech support because my laptop hasn't had any issues. Given a choice between lenovo and Dell, choose Dell 100% of the time.
