Congratulations on getting 12000 hours out of your tractor, I have 3 4640s that got close to 10000 when they tired out.
If your block and crank are good ( maybe) you still need cam, injectors, oil pump, turbo OH kit etc. Much cheaper to put a good combine engine in. Not bad job and I think a 7720 will fit.
