Southwest Iowa | I've read your posts for quite some time and never once thought of you as an idiot. I've picked up some knowledge reading your words and have no problem with you putting out there what you think.
I was told a long time ago by an elevator manager that also happened to be one of my best friends dad that an elevator makes its money by trading the basis. Now, I might be misquoting him, since that's been 20+ years ago. But I do know that he built a very successful business and I'd have no problem following his marketing advice if he was still with us today.
My problem is seeing multiple people get upset because others didn't follow their leads, and might be better because of it, in this never before seen times. I've tried to be consistent right or wrong over the years to "average" out my sales. Whether I do better than the masses or not, doesn't bother me much as long as I can keep going for the future. To think that all marketing programs are the same, is silly. | |
