Clinton County, Michigan | We have a similar setup. At first just tried a repeater in the window of the shop. But with all the steel inside it still wasn't ideal.

In 2015 we mounted one of these on our shop, pointed at the house. Then run a cable inside, and connect to a old or cheap router acting as an access point (connect to Ethernet 1 instead of WAN). For a stronger signal you could mount a second M2 on the house, but our distance was a little longer than 150' and still getting strong signal with just the single. This unit is a little overkill for this type of range, because a pair of these M2 is said to go a couple miles+. | |
