East Central Nebraska | I am on the team that says get your own sprayer. I work full time and find time to spay my own 500 acres and custom farm/work another 500 in which he hires the spraying. You can cover a lot of ground pretty quickly. Night and day difference between our fields with mine much cleaner and he spends up the wazoo to get his sprayed. Last year he had about $30 more/acre than I had. I don't spray his because I don't want 32% thru my sprayer for the pre and he is on 36" rows and I'm 30. I custom with his equipment. | |
