It is a concern, fertilizer, herbicides.
Where I am is usually a month until you can really plant, if then. Another 2 weeks or more to spray? I expect policies and issues to evolve and change quite a bit between now and then.
So I would take this with a grain of salt.
However, getting your own sprayer, if you can do it, is not a bad thing.
