Well, I have absolutely no idea where you are located so this may not mean a thing in your case but........I had an uncle that farmed for 40 plus years before renting out his ground to me and he always said "You can do things to dirt in June that can't/shouldn't do in April". I'm with Jon, air it out today and plant it tomorrow.
