It is pretty common trend tho, when the east and west coast is having a good economy, the middle rural economy is bad.
And the other way around.
Every govt official on the national level works for a good economy on the coasts, that is wher3 the population and votes are.
Even the rural lawmakers opt for a strong Wall Street and jobs.
It is the political cycle we have, with or without extra forces affecting our markets.
When we mid America farmers have our few good years, the workforce and the investors tend to be struggling.
