ecmn | Yield is only part of the equation. How many guys were willing to over pay $20, $30, or $50 an acre more than the neighbors because prices were never coming down and they were going to get rich. There is a lot of overpriced rents being paid right now in hope someone is going to bail them out. $7-8 corn was tougher on us than this tariff. Inputs have gone up and not come back down. We happened to grow a record crop of beans on record acres last year. How come no one can accept that fact? Bean price reflects more from a huge crop than the tariff. | |
