EC SoDak | I don’t disagree with what you’re saying for the most part. I do what I always do, lower inputs, rent, equipment, and interest costs as much as I can to beat my competition domestically and abroad. But I’ll stand by what my point is, the government is hurting my industry and I won’t stand for it. I’ll speak/write to anyone who has influence on the process, vote the way it makes sense, post my thoughts on an ag forum, etc.
Imagine low COP and keeping your markets (SB for China and corn for ethanol/Rin waivers issue)
Personally, I don’t like high prices. It encourages foreign competition and keeps weak players in the game domestically. But bad govt ag policy, as we have seen, encourages foreign competition while hurting our industry. It will take a lot of issues for me to agree with current policy. | |
